On July 8, at one of our projects located in Dublin, we had the pleasure of welcoming Damian O’Connor from International Powered Access Federation (IPAF).
Damian delivered valuable sessions with both our management team and site teams, focusing on safe practices when working at height and the correct selection and use of access equipment such as MEWPs.
Key topics included:
– The importance of proper MEWP selection for specific tasks
– Identifying and mitigating hazards associated with MEWPs
– IPAF’s current safety campaign aimed at preventing overturns
These sessions were a timely reminder of our shared responsibility to ensure everyone works safely and goes home safe.
