King & Moffatt completed the electrical installation on Dublin City Council’s North City Operations Depot. The state-of-the-art facility includes a four storey office and welfare building with shower, laundry, briefing and training rooms. The facility also comprises of a large salt barn that has a capacity of 1,200 tonnes, a facility for vehicles requiring frost protection, a waste compaction area, and custom built workshops for painting, carpentry, metal and electrical works.
The modern facility also has an equipment storage unit and a multi-storey car park. The North City Operations Depot has allowed for the relocation of almost 600 staff into the new facility from 16 smaller depots based in the north of the city.
